Grace

I’ve been doing the Bible study

JONAH

Navigating a Life Interrupted

It’s about life’s interruptions that we weren’t planning on and that are unexpected. Well, I said “sign me up!” This topic is so relevant for me right now I couldn’t wait to dive in.

I’ve been struggling with life’s little interruptions that have been happening since we have been home from the hospital.  I have more I’d love to share with you about this subject and I hope to post about it soon.

But, today I want to talk about God’s unending

GRACE.

During one of Priscilla’s videos she talked about how we can be in a pit of despair and how God’s grace can cover us.

One thing she said, and I’m paraphrasing, was that she liked to affectionately say that Jonah was swallowed by a fish called

GRACE.

I loved hearing her say that and I’m so grateful that while I’m still feeling emotionally fragile God’s Grace can engulf us.

Isaiah 30:18 says “Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion.  For the LORD is a God of justice.  Blessed are all who wait on him.”

My prayer for myself and for you is to feel God’s grace cover us and protect us during life’s interruptions.

Have you done this Bible study? If so what did you think of it?  Did you do it during a time in your life that was in turmoil?

Thanks for taking time out of your day to stop by,
